Snow
Juneau's first visit to snow... of course it's pretty warm in Palm Springs so it wasn't like my first snow... in Iowa.

4 months
Juneau went to the doctor and got his shots - he is doing well. He's 14 lb and 10 oz, or in the 50th percentile for weight. He is 24.5", which is the 30th percentile for height, and his head is 16.5" in circumference, I think this was in the 40th percentile. Doctor says he's doing great - has really strong legs, really smooth skin, and is super handsome!

3 months and what a joy
Juneau is really changing each day. For one he is getting huge. I can see how he sits higher in his little bumbo chair, 0-3 months clothes are getting smaller and smaller by the day. he can face forward in the baby bjorn and he loves to do stand-ups. In fact it's all he wants to do. Every time i try to read him a book, he's pretty bored. he loves airplane time and standing. Tummy time is sometimes a struggle, but he's getting pretty good at it. He can pretty much hold his own head up now. We try to go running to see the sunset every day. There has been so much progress in the last month, I can hardly wait for month 4!

Ta-Daaaa
Juneau was born at at 6am on August 12, 2008. He was 6 pounds and 19.5 inches long - and he arrived three weeks early. Mom and baby are both doing well.

is a place where michael lived (and where niko the dog was born) that is really beautiful - his whole name is juneau archer foxlin. archer is in honor of michael's mom.
